Turtle Paw Circle is a 501(c)3 nonprofit sustainable farm and retreat center located on 80 acres in Rainier, Oregon. Our farm serves as a hub for growing food and medicinal plants using sustainable farming practices, hosting seasonal ceremonies and educational programs, and providing safe, inclusive retreats for community, connection, and healing. Founded by a multicultural group of Indigenous and spiritual practitioners, Turtle Paw Circle is rooted in reverence for the land and the ecological wisdom of our ancestors. Our Board of Directors includes a diverse range of skills, experience, and demographic background. We are committed to sustainability, reciprocity, and diversity.
Turtle Paw Circle is dedicated to cultural enrichment, environmental stewardship, and spiritual well-being. We provide a sacred space for intertribal, intercultural, and non-denominational spiritual gatherings, fostering unity and understanding among diverse traditions. Through community events, land stewardship, and environmental education, we empower individuals to reconnect with nature, ancestral wisdom, and community. Our goal is to establish and maintain a self-sustaining foundation that nurtures both the land and the spirit, ensuring that future generations inherit a thriving, harmonious space for growth, healing, and connection. We envision a world where land is held sacred and where food, ceremony, and community bring people back into harmony with themselves and their environment.
We are currently seeking funding to restore our primary gathering space on the farm. The project addresses urgent issues such as mold remediation, weather damage, road repair, and infrastructure improvements (electrical and safe access points) to ensure a safe and sacred space for ceremonies, community learning, and nature-based workshops. This project will provide a safe, accessible space for hundreds of community members throughout the year and enable us to host regular volunteer work days, food security programs, and sacred cultural ceremonies.
